On the occasion of Saâd Ben Cheffaj's retrospective exhibition from November 8 to 29, 2012, the art gallery L'Atelier 21 inaugurates its Fine Books publishing department with the monograph of one of the pioneers of modern art in Morocco. Since 1956, Saâd Ben Cheffaj has enriched the plastic arts in our country.
The publication of the first monograph devoted to Saâd Ben Cheffaj pays tribute to a key figure in Moroccan modern art, one of the most prestigious representatives of painting in the Arab world. In over half a century of uninterrupted painting, Saâd Ben Cheffaj has acquired a rarely equalled mastery of his art.
