To mark the 20th anniversary of Safaa Erruas' career, the art gallery L'Atelier 21 is publishing the artist's first monograph. This monograph will be presented in counterpoint to an exhibition featuring the latest works by visual artist Safaa Erruas. Entitled “Le temps parcouru”, this exhibition will take place from December 4, 2018 to January 12, 2019 at L'Atelier 21.
The exhibition “Le temps parcouru” underlines the maturity of the artist, who has never stopped questioning individual and collective histories. In a series of works, the artist tirelessly repeats the same elements, each time opening up new visual possibilities and meanings. The works share a common denominator akin to the imposing calm of the ocean floor. “All the works in the exhibition are based on the same silence. A silence that speaks to me, and in which I feel alive”, says the artist.
